We are looking for a Database Administrator (DB Admin) to join our engineering team in Pune. Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Implement database security, replication, backup, and performance tuning strategies.
• Work with automation and configuration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Support cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams following Agile/Scrum practices.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate technical solutions effectively.

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• 4–8 years of experience in database engineering or administration.
• Strong expertise in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• Familiarity with automation/configuration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Solid knowledge of database performance tuning, replication, and security.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Hands-on experience in DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
